School visits and leisure centers
The Public Development Service of the Château fort – Pyrenean Museum designs and implements the public policy of the heritage site.
We offer a varied educational offering (storytelling, guided tours, creative workshops), activities adapted according to the cycles (1st and 2nd degree), all in a lively and interactive way.

For organizational reasons, only tour reservations made in writing are accepted depending on service availability.

Guided tour of the castle's defensive systems
Depending on the cycle, children are led to understand the different functions of the Castle:
- its operation and the usefulness of the different defense systems
- but also to observe and read on the walls the evolution of the castle, from its role as a county residence to a military stronghold.
Guided tour duration: approximately 1 hour
Discovery of the castle or the museum for toddlers
Two stories allow you to visit the castle or the museum in a gentle way.
""The Adventures of Petronilla"" to discover the site's fortifications.
"Whose is it?"» (Whose is it?), the adventure story of a mouse that allows children to discover the animals of the Pyrenees and collectibles such as bells.

EAC projects in partnership with the National Education system
The Public Service also offers projects linked to the IEN65.

- the Mountain Project: for one year, two CM2/6th grade classes work on the fauna and flora of the Pyrenees.
- L'objècte mistèri : project promoting the Occitan language and culture.
