On Sunday, June 7, 2026, the Château fort – Musée pyrénéen is participating in the 23rd national edition of Rendez-vous aux jardins with the theme "The sight" and invites you to take part, free of charge, in a moment of sharing through multiple activities organized especially for this occasion: workshops, guided tours, exhibition…

A special opportunity to discover or rediscover the riches of our botanical heritage and to enjoy a moment of relaxation and tranquility in the garden!

Free entry from 9am to 6pm (last entry at 5pm).

Program :

All day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

- Workshop ""Visible and invisible consequences of climate change"" with the CPIE (Permanent Centre for Environmental Initiatives) of Bagnères-de-Bigorre.

- Art exhibition by two classes of CM1 - CM2 from the Lapacca school, as part of the Mountain project.

- Drawing course : Imagine and draw your own flora and fauna by combining various flowers, plants, animals, and insects that you find in the museum garden. Drawing materials provided.

The morning :

- 9:30 am : Plant exchange with Annick Baléri, passionate about botany and gardens.

- 10:30 am : "Corner Garden" Workshop . Create your own miniature garden by recycling old pots. Materials provided. Ages 6 and up. Reservations required.

- 11 a.m .: Guided tour of the garden with Bastien, the castle gardener, and Annick Baléri.

- 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM: Library visit for children aged 5 to 12 (accompanied by an adult). Guided tour featuring large picture books of flowers, plants, and birds in the heart of the Museum's library! Reservations can be made by calling 05 62 42 37 37.

The afternoon:

- 2:30 pm : Guided tour of the garden with Bastien and Annick Baléri.

- 2:30 pm: Library tour for ages 12 and up. Like an 18th, 19th, or 20th-century botanist, come see, examine, and observe the beautiful original plates of the living world found in illustrious books from the Museum's library's rare book collection. Reservations required: 05 62 42 37 37 .

- 4 p.m.: "Corner Garden" Workshop. Create your own miniature garden by recycling old pots. Materials provided. Reservations required: 05 62 42 37 37.

- 4 p.m.: Plant exchange with Annick Baléri.
