On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Château fort – Musée pyrénéen is participating in the 22nd national edition of the Rendez-vous aux jardins with this year's theme: "Stone gardens - garden stones" and invites you to take part in the many activities organized especially for this occasion: workshops, guided tours, exhibition... for a moment of sharing.

Program :

All day: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.:

- ""Geology of the Pyrenees"" workshop with the CPIE of Bagnères-de-Bigorre , discovering the rock in the Pyrenees in a fun way.

- ""Listening to Plants"" animation with Jean-Mary Lancou, listen to the electromagnetic waves emitted by plants, the silent words of plants!

- Art exhibition by two CM2 classes from the Honoré Auzon school, as part of a Mountain project.

The morning :

- 10:30 a.m .: Storytelling for families : Discover a story for the whole family about stone in the castle garden.

- 11 a.m .: Walk with Annick Baléri around the plants that grow on the rock, followed by a plant swap.

In the afternoon:

- 2:30 p.m .: Guided tour in two voices, on the rock garden of the castle-museum.

- 3 p.m.: Meeting around the Zen garden with Annick Baléri

- 4 p.m.: ""Clay Herbarium"" workshop , for the whole family. Discover trees and plants during a stroll through the garden of the Château fort - Pyrenean Museum. Learn to identify different species and make plant prints in clay. A creative workshop to combine nature and art by creating your own herbarium (capacity of 20 places).
